What is the tcode to schedule a report program in background ?

Tcode SM36

Here we can Schedule the Executable Programs (Reports) in Background.

Create a Job.

Create the Steps - Assign the Report name and Variant.

Enter the Start Condition.

Save the Job.

Job status can be monitorEd in Tcode SM37

Hi,

Create a Variant for the Program

Go to SM36 create a Job

Enter Program and Variant for that program in STEP.

Click on Start Condition

Click on DATE and TIME enter date scheduled Start and END times

click on Period Values

Click on HOURLY/WEEKLY etc

Use SM37 Transaction to check the status of JOB.

Hi Akshay,

Tcode sm36 is ised to create bck gnd job and tcode sm37 is used to monitor background jobs.
