Should I learn ABAP..?

Hi,

I have around 5 yrs. of experience in Visual Basic, ASP, Sql Server 2000. Now I want to come into SAP. As I have no idea about which module or what I should learn. I went to one SAP training center. They asked me to take training in ABAB.

Is it Right? Should I go for this? Will it help me in my career? Kindly suggest me.

Regards,

Kundan Sinha

Hi Kundan,

If your prior experience is purely technical then you have options of ABAP, Netweaver, XI, SAP BW etc.

You will have to explore & check your area of interest.

Definitely you can goahead with ABAP but do check other options as well.

Best regards,

Prashant

Hi,

You continue with your current technical experience. As the market is too volatile sustaining in SAP as fresher is too difficult . So my suggestion is to go with your own experience.
