Hi All,

We are getting following error when posting FI docs.

Error: FS 102 customer * is not defined in company code &

I have identified a SAP  note 1382668 which is apt to resolve the issue.

The note is in "Cannot be implemented status" however under solution, it has specified the implement correction instructions.

Please let me know, how to implement the correction instructions, if the note is saying "Cannot be implemented"

Thanks,

Priya

Hi,

if the note said "Cannot be implemented" 99% of the times is because it was already implemented

look at the support package level specified in the note. If for example it's written  SAP_APPL ....13  that means if you are under level 13 or higher you already have it.

to check your level, go in the menu  system -> status -> in the right you have a button that will give you all the level of package.  You could also go in the SPAM trans.

regards

Fred

Hi,

For SAP Note Error -

The SAP Note does not contain any correction instructions that you can implement in your system. No action is required. In short that Note is not applicable to your SAP s/w release.Implementing The note may not not be a solution up here.

From the The error that you posted above "

Error: FS 102 customer * is not defined in company code &" -

It seems as if that customer is not present in particular Company Code.

You may need to Extend the customer to particular company code using Tcode -  XD01 .This must solve your issue

Thanks,

Vikas

Hi,

If the OSS note is in "Cannot be implemented status", it means that SAP has not released this not to the version of your system.

Check the System Status and Available to Status of the components mentioned in the OSS note.

If you feel that the OSS note should be applicable to your verstion too, then open an OSS message with SAP to either upgrade or downgrade the OSS note to your systems version.l

Hope this helps.
