Remove only horizontal lines from Table in Smartforms

Hello All,

I need to have  a table which eliminates the horizontal line in between the line items.

It should be line the figure above. After the line items I also have a footer section, where there will be free text for remarks. This footer should not have any borders. rest the entire table will have border plus the vertical lines.

I've tried various patterns. One which is particularly suiting my requirement was under Display Framed Pattern > second last option. But the problem with it is it draws a border for the footer area and after all the line items, the bottom frame goes missing. My header, items and footer are different line types. I have tried and tested

Any suggestions of how I can achieve this.

Thanks.

Hi Roshni,

To remove the horizontal lines in table use the highlighted option in table.

First you choose your column and select the suitable option from the menu.

Hello Arun,

I've already tried that. I created all the frames using individual frames suggested by you and didnt put bottom frame for my line item linetype. Problem here is, there is no lower frame on each page after all line items gets printed. Can you elaborate or any other suggestion.

Thanks.

better use template for table header and another template in loop for table line items, and in the end another template for table footer .

you can have different formatting options for each three of above.

Hi Rasul,

Ive created a dummy window similar to main window with the borders. It is displayed correctly now. But i have an issue now. As I said before, I have a footer also, which should not have any borders. Currently, the template is shown over the footer also. How can I eliminate this?

Thanks.

Hi Roshni,

You can try creating 3 different table lines for header, table data and footer.

For header use

For body, try

for footer try

I myself haven't tried it. U may say if it works.

Thanks,
