I am trying to find field for the manufacturer name.

Could someone tell me which field of which SAP table holds the value for Manufacturer name.

retrive MFRNR from mara and get name from the LFA1 table pass as LIRNR

Do you have some kind of number which is linked with this? (in order to look for it in the LFA1 for example) or is your quest starting from scratch?

I got MARA-MFRNR and MARA-MFRPN values and I need to post Manufacturer name with these details in an other R/3 system.

I think you should read table LFA1 WHERE LFA1-LINFR = MARA-MFRNR and get out the name from field LFA1-NAME1

That should do the trick, LFA1 is also checktable for MARA-MFRNR.

I can only think that as being the vendors name which is available in table LFA1 as field NAME1.
