Hi
Inbound means external non sap Data coming into SAP
Outbound means sending the SAP application data to external systems

Hi,
In inbound process data are transfer from flat file to sap , means non sap to
sap.
An in outbound process data are transfer from sap to flat file , means sap to non sap.

Hi,
if the data is coming in to the SAP System that is called as an inbound interface and if the data is going out from SAP system it is called an outbound interface .
Ex:
if you are uploading data from an excel file to SAP System it is an Example for Inbound interface and all the report programs which read the data from the database are examples of outbound interface.

Hi Ramesh,
Inbound is nothing but data coming from legacy system or other sap/non sap system into the sap system. whereas outbound is the data going from the sap system.
if the data is coming in to the SAP System that is called as an inbound interface and if the data is going out from SAP system it is called an outbound interface .
Ex:
