Export to Excel from ALV grid

When you click on the spreadsheet option on an ALV grid, why do all the date fields move to the end on the excel sheet ? Is this a standard bug in SAP ? This happens in both custom as awell as standard SAP ALV grid. You expect the display and the columns in the excel sheet to be in sync., which isn't happening ..Whats special with the date fields ?

For eg : Export VBAP using 'Spreadsheet' ) from SE16. . In the exported excel, the ERDAT is the last field..

Also try making a custom layout with date fields and use spreadsheet option.

ALV Grid with SE16N works fine. I think SE16's grid uses REUSE FM's and SE16N uses ALV class objects..

Thanks in advance..

Breakpoint..Try to create a custom layout for your SE16 display with date fields on it and see where it is when you click on spreadsheet ..

My apologies...you're absolutely right...have not seen this happen before (we just upgraded to NWAS 7.01).... strange indeed and it happens for both Excel in place and Excel after print preview....Amazing!
