Change text Editor (Word) to normal text editor

Somebody who knows something about, how can i change the default <b>Editor(word)</b>, i need to change it for the normal text editor.

Hi,

Try in the Editor, follow the path..

Goto--> Change editor & selec the appropriate one...

For changing permanantly,try

Goto--->Configure Editor

Go to SE38 -> Utilities-> Settings. In the ABAP Editor tab go to Editor tab and check the box Standard line length(72). This works in new versions.

Before that, Are u in latest version or old one?

Were you talking about the Editor of the program(se38) or for Long texts??

If it is long text,follow my previous answer.

If it is Program Editor the follow SE38->Utilities->Setting->Front-end Editor.

Go to SE38 -> Utilities-> Settings-> In the ABAP Editor tab-> go to Editor tab and select Front end editor radiobutton.

is correct for long texts, in your previous answer, you mentioned "goto->", where is this option?

the problem is try to change the default editor, for transactions like SO10 or something with a text edition, in 1 environment it show us the MSWord editor, but in other environment show the normal editor.

Hi Emilio,

Please do the following :

T/code SO10> Settings(Menubar)>Remove the Check box at Graphical PC editor .

From Next time onwards whenever you use SO10 this will display TEXT editor.

maybe i'm not very specific with the problem, there is another explanation:

i'm uploading standard text with the SO10, and in 2 environments, we're using the PC editor in both, the problem is that in both environment with the PC editor options, the editor looks really different, and using debugger options, i´ve found something like "Normal editor" for one environment and "Word editor" for the other environment, like different versions with the PC editor.
