Can anybody tell me how to create a database table with table maintenance generator. If anybody give all steps it will be beneficial. What is the prerequisite for table maintenance generator
Can anybody tell me how to create a database table with table maintenance generator. If anybody give all steps it will be beneficial. What is the prerequisite for table maintenance generator
1) Go to SE11 and check table maintanance check box under attributes tab.
2) Go to menu Utilities -> Table Maintanance Generator ->
Create function group and assign it under function group input box. You can enter same as table name for function group. Also assign authorization group default &NC& .
3) Select standard recording routine radio in table table mainitainence generator to move table contents to quality and production by assigning it to request.
4) Select maintenance type as single step.
5) Maintainence screen as system generated numbers this dialog box appears when you click on create button.
Go to SE80 --> select function group from the drop down list --> Input your function group --> Press enter --> select function grouup --> Right Click on FM group --> select Activate from the context menu.
As soon as the table maintenance generator is created, after giving the function module name everthing, it will be activated automatically. if not go to se80 and activate. it. there not will be any problem in that.
Please check whether you want to assign it to any authorization group
