does anybody know about documents refering to SAP XI security. I would like to know internals, e.g. how configured passwords are stored.

Hello Prasant,

thank's for the links. I see, in case of JDBC security issues are delegated to the JDBC driver provider. But what about the passwords in the configuration? Are they written to a secure store?

nop, I mean the password provided in the JDBC communication channel configuration. Do you know where XI stores it? Would it be the secure store of the SAP WAS?

Hi Heiko,

The user id, password,, Global database name , port number etc.. are stored in the JDBC adapter itself.

Is the data written to a plain file, to the database or to the SAP secure store?

thanks for the link. Unfortunately it doesn't state where the data keyed in the XI configuration is stored.

As far as I know, I think it is stored in the secure store.

Am not very sure though.
