Hi deepak,

1. First you have to created a Org.Unit for your Requirement. Here you created the all Responsible Agents.

2. Then Create a Work flow and here you give all Possible Agents. Then Using "Rule" you can assign the Various agents to your workflow at runtime.

Thanks.

Ramu,

There is a new PA added and there is no responsibility objects associated with the Workcenters under this PA. How to add the responsibility object ( Responsibilities) ? This is my question. I hope I have to deal with an existing workflow..

Hi Deepak,

use T-code PFAC to create responsibilities and assign there your org. unit

After that you can use it in your workflow.

In TCODE PFAC I can create rules only. I am not seeing a place to create the responsibilites. I am not sure i am trying the right options

Hi Deepak,

in TA PFAC you enter Basic data and select "Agent Determination: Responsibilities".

After you press return you'll get another register card "Responsibilities"

Here you add your created OU.

When you save your rule, you'll get it's number which you have to enter in your workflow step on the control tab as rule.

Hi Peter,

Thank you so much for your help.. I understand what you have told me. But my concern is

for adding responsibility to an Org Unit, we need to create a rule right? Is it Mandatory to create the rule for that? Is there any other way to assign responsibility to an Org Unit without creating a rule? Please advice.

I am totally new to workflows and my questions may appear silly

Hi Deepak,

you asked for responsibilities and rules...

Of course you may assign your WF step directly to your OU. On the control tab choose at "Agents" "Organizational Unit".

Can I do this peter?

1.Go to Org Management

2. Create the responsibilities

3. Assign the the responsibilities objects to the Org Unit

All these need to be done within the Org management without even going to the workflow transactioin codes. In otherwords without knowing about the workflows and rules can I just create responsibilities and assign that to the Workcenters?

Yes its possible ..

I have figured that out .. thanks

Go to General Structures

Create the required objects

assign that to the Irg Units
