Hi preet,

Go through wiht these steps.......

Go to transaction u2018SWU3u2019 (Automatic Workflow Customizing)

Select u2018Maintain Definition Environmentu2019 and click on expand.

Select u2018Maintain Prefix Numbersu2019 option & right click on it. Click on u2018Execute Activityu2019.

it displays the prefix numbers assigned to different clients.

To change the prefix numbers, click on change mode (Ctrl+F1)

Make a note of all the information like SAP System, Client, & Package before changing.

Select the record to be changed:

Click on delete icon:

Click again on delete. Entire record gets deleted.

Click on u2018Createu2019 icon:

Give the Prefix number as u2018953u2019 (new number) and click on save.

Enter the package name and click on u2018continueu2019.

Henceforth, all the workflow definitions would have the prefix 953.

Hope this will help u a lot........

Hi kiran,

WS stands for Workflow for multistep...

TS stands for single step..

You cant change this and coming to 3 digits u can do only for one time while you start doing the first workflow..once its done v cant chagne(Upto my knowledge)....if it is i am glad to know how??????

and the remaining 6 digits r internally generated..if u can chagne them...

Regards,

Vamshi
