workflow template

hi experts,

we create different org-structures and different workflow templates in SAP. irrespective of this, we have many predefined org-structures and templates. now how do we configure that the specigic org-structure and specific templates to be followed by the system...

i understood the concept of creating org-structures, defining SAPusers for it, and also creating the templates.

could anybody pls explain me clearly how do we link the Template, OrgStructure and R/3...?

thanks in advance.

Pavan

Hi Pavan,

the whole idea behind org structures is what you describe there. First you create your template, if there are work items that have to be executed by some users you can create an org structure and use an existing role or create custom one to specify which org unit (with it's assigned users/persons) has to receive the work item.

You can also use a rule bassed on responsibilities, this requires no programming.

Alternatively you can assign org units direct to the tasks in the template.

Hope this helps,

regards,

Kevin.

Thanks Kevin,

You mean to say that the org-structure whatever i create (say it starts with WS), i use the same org-structure number to define my workflow template.

if i want to attach more than one template for a org-structure, how can i do that in that case?

thanks
