Workflow Issue

Hi Sap Experts,

Need your help on workflow issue,  Reportee raises a leave request from portal and it goes to manager for approval.. suddenly manager couldn't see work item in the portal.. so as a workaround  we were requested them to log in the sap system and execute the T-code SBWP to approve the things.

But very surprisingly there also we didnt see any work item there , hence we concluded the reason it didn't appear on portal its because it was not available in SBWP itself i mean the backend.. no we dont have any workaround to give for the user..

We have checked all the workflow  things . all are really fine. no issues on it.. only WF not showing in SAP inbox . can anyone faces these kind of issues.. this is causing huge noise in the business as none of managers see the work item in SBWP,,

Has anyone faces these issue before ? if yes please help us out as this has become so critical.. how come workflow doesnt reach sap inbox.

Screenshot attached where only old workflow is there.. new one is not all there , i could see the work item in SWIA T-code with started status ,

But not in inbox.

Thanks

Sriram

hi,

>>it seems that your user is not  the possible agents for the task.

>> make sure that the decision task is a "general task"

>>execute transaction SWU_OBUF to refresh the buffers

>> last option consult with your BASIS guy whether they ahve changed the password of the WF-BATCH user, if the password is changed  then the work items will not appear in the SAP inbox. ie SBWP

thank you!!

Dear Sriram,

Have you checked the log of the any workflow?

Is the workflow is running successfully. Because if in SWIA if work item is with user as an agent only then it should show in SBWP.

It could happen wf_batch user locked. I know it's not possible please check it once.

Please check the configuration in SWU3.

THanks

Nishant
