Work process "internal memory"

Hello,

From the SAPTEC course material, a work process has:

  • Screen Processor

  • ABAP Interpreter

  • Database Interface

  • Task Handler

  • Internal Memory

I can kind of guess what most of these do ... except for the "Internal Memory".

Can anyone help with an explanation of the role of "Internal Memory" in the work process?

Kind regards,

Peter Strauss

I think the answer is that the memory is used to store the user context and a data buffer.
