WLK1 Table mandatory field data for DATBI & DATAB missing

Hi ABAPers,

I have an issue in production i.e in table WLK1 few records have created which have data missing from mandatory field DATBI & DATAB . Can anyone tell me the reason for that and how to delete those records.

Hi Neal,

Since we could not figure out records could be created we have seeked for SAP's support & there reply was to delete those records and list them again to data base.

So I curious if thats the only thing we can do or any other way.

Did these go in through WSR4?

I don't know about that. What xactly is WSR4 used for ?

It's a configuration point that SM30 points you to when you enter WLK1.

What is WLK1 for?  In your view?

Here in our case we are creating materials and availing certain time period i.e. DATAB and DATBI  for selling those in different stores. So if those goes missing will certainly cause problem.

So, just by a creating Z code for selcting those records then deleating them and after that listing them again to database will solve the problem or not?

I'm afraid that I have to hold with OSS in most cases.  If they told you to do it.  Then that's what you are to do.  They are the experts.  Just, once you have written the code, before you run it, go back to them and get them to verify that what you wrote is what they intended.
