Why eCATT ?

Hi All,

I have studied some eCATT tutorials. Now i'm in confusion. What exactly eCATT does.

My requirement is I have a sap product which is in the form of transactions. Can i use eCATT to test my product? Where exactly i can automate my product testing using eCATT?

Till now I'm doing my product testing manually. Just i'm giving some inputs and checking whether its executing properly or not thats all. Can I implement eCATT tool for my testing? How will it effective for my product testing?

Check database updates by performing determining values and making target/actual comparisons.

Check reactions to changes in Customizing settings.

Generate data.

The Computer Aided Test Tool is integrated into the ABAP Workbench.
