from lotus notes domino server.

that time this exception is generated.

this fm give this exception if u run it background reason is

1. In background processing,

no GUI (front-end computer)

is avaialable.

2. Hence, all GUI methods, and FM

will fail.

ya u can upload file into application server instead of downloading it into presentation server.

instead of downloading data via gui_download ,u shud upload the data to application server and this will work in background.

to download/upload data on Application server use following demo code -
