while creating a report program(SAP ABAP TECHNICAL PROBLEM)

Hi,

While creating a normal report, im not getting the list of type of the program, like Executable Program, Module pool program, etc... So that Im unable to save/create the program.

And also, While Activating the already existing programs, the progarm is terminated with short dump on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (Type X).

i never experienced this error before, please help me out.....

Hi Shyam,

This surely is an unusual error. Get in touch with your BASIS Team. Verify if they are uploading any patches or if recently a patch upgrade has been done. It's an error from the installation perspective and can be resolved by the BASIS Team. As mentioned in the error, do try using ABAP Editor in another system.

Hi Shyam,

You need to ROLLBACK the adobeforms patch temporarily. If your issue with reference to ABAP Editor is resolved, then, go through the detailed documentation & Procedure associated with the installation of Adobe Forms patch. There might be a conflict between patch versions and hence you will have to identify the one applicable to your system. I would recommend you to let the BASIS Team look into this and let them apply the patches you need.

Hi,

Its a very strange issue. I think the bassis team would be the best to solve this? Are you getting same error in other systems? also kindly check the domain  values  for SUBC  in table REPOSRC. these should contain all the pragram types.

The dump says to make sure that your SAPGUI is up to date. Have you done that?
