You have already got some replies for documentation or step by step approach.

You can also try transaction 'ABAPDOCU' for documentation and examples. Its mainly a collection of example codes but double clicking on any item opens help in browser.

You can even try to execute the example codes there only to see the results......

And, this collection is not only about dialog programming but a lot more...... EXPLORE
