what is screen fields & table fields

what is screen field & table field, & difference between them.

Hi,

screen field- > field we are fitting in the screen layout.

like... text box

table fild -> normal tbale field.

eg: matnr in mara table.

Screen fields are fields present on screen. It may be defined using reference from table fields which are the fields defined into tables.

While attaching serach help to search field and table field, there is difference between them.
