What is a BLoP

Hi I am trying to customise the Leave Request in ESS on EP7. The BADI interface IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ has 3 methods that I am not sure of:

1. Simulate Attendances/Absences with BLoP

2. Validate and Simulate Attendances/Absences with BLoP

3. Post Attendances/Absences with BLoP

Can somebody explain what BLoP means?

Functionality

This method uses the HR_BLP_MAINTAIN_TIMEDATA function module (Valuate Time Data), also known as BLop (Business Logic Processor), to post absence quotas to the following infotypes:

Absence Quotas (2006)

Attendance Quotas (2007)
