From which version of the WAS are the abap webservices supported? is it the 6.20?

Hi,

Correct. From SAP Web AS 6.20 web service can be used.

I think SAP Netweaver 04 which is available since September 2004 has a Web Application version of 6.40.

All release since then should supports Web services.
