Hi

I have created view and it's table maintainance. When I enter data in sm30 of view then it saves data but the same data is not being maintained in the table of view. Is there any way to achive this.

I have ZRCT table and ZVRCT view expecting data to be maintained automatically in table once maintained in view.

Regards

R

Hi Ria..

What is the Type of View you have created?

If it is Database view or Maintenance view , then once we maintain the records using SM30 these records are updated in the Underlying table.

REWARD IF HELPFUL.

Hi Ria Sen,

Usually on editing the view ZVRCTand saving in SM30 transaction itself that change has to be reflected in the table ZRCT.

Another option is goto the transaction Se54>give the view name>click the create/change button--->do the changes > save or se54>view name->test button>it takes to sm30>click maintain button>save.

Hope it works fine.
