There are no versions in the version database.

What does this tells us.If I have to compare these two what should I look into and which has to be moved to production.

Thanks,

Hi Kiran,

Actually in the Quality and Production system, I dont think the version database is maintained as the objects are transported from Dev to QA and then to Production.

The checkbox ticked tells u that the this is the active version in the database for the object as of now.

If u compare both the versions i.e. one in dev and the active one in QA then u will see No differences.

For this what u need to do is to go to Version management, select a version, goto Remote Comparison button and put QAS or RSS.

This will give u the differences.

Regards,

Himanshu

Hi,

Generally the movement will be from DEV to QAL and then to PRD systems.

So if you wish to compare, compare the current active versions in DEV and QAL. It will give what changes are made in DEV.

The current version of DEV should be moved to QAL and later to PRD.

Raj
