Version management

Hello community!

I'm facing a problem with the version management for a customers system.

For some objects the versions disappear when a the transport request are released to Q system.

E.g. A class have let's say 5 versions and have been transported to production system 5 times, the last time was 2 years ago. Now we make a correction in one of the method as as usual a new version in created and assigned to the task in the transport request.

When the transport is released from development system and imported into the Q system there is only one version in the version management in the development system.

Why?

This behaviour started after the installed CHaRM operated from Solution Manager.

Without your systeminformation this is right a shot in the blue, but you can try snote 1987983 for this issue. Or snote 1861172 (follow up for snote 1780268).

Thank you for responding. Unfortunately the corrections suggested by those notes are already implemented in the system.

Hi Johan,

As I mentioned before, it is hard to find the reason without examine the involved systems e.g. SAP Solution Manager and the managed system.

Please check the following notes if you find the issue description.

If this did not help, please try to explain the situation in an support ticket.

What is the SP of your Solution Manager System, what ST-PI STBCO version did you use, Kernel version and system information about the managed system.

What type of objects are effected from this issue?

Did this occures for this type every time an transport is performed or only in a specific constellation?
