Version comparision

Hi

I'm trying to find out the version in Quality and Development is same or not. I go to Version --> Version management, i noticed a line with active check button. But it doesn't have the TR (transport request) number. Please let me know.

Double click on the line with active check button, it will take you to its corresponding request number.

Hi ,

to find out the latest TR of the object ,

Goto : Version->Version Management

there the latest one in versions in version database is active one k , so that is the present TR for that object now

Might be Transport request has been archieved. Please check the version mgmt screen at title you might get more information. YOu can also request your BASIS.

instead of doing version management do the remote comparison of development and quality. so that you could easily find out the difference incase if any.

you can use transaction SE39 for remote comparison of objects across systems
