I have created table maintenance generator but I can not create entries in table as it utility - table content

Check the function group and screen created for maintaing maintenance generator is activated.

Check with Basis , that authorization to create entry is avaliable with your ID or not.

If you have did it through maintenance view, check the maintenance type.

check the the SE12 database table dictionary settings, tab Delivery and Maintenance, and set to Display/maintenance allowed.

Hi,

I changed table maintenance allowed an it is working fine now but while creating entry in table first enrty was

filled correctly but for next enry getting the message

when creating entry you entered a key which alreay exists

Hi Vivek,

That means you are trying to create a record with primary keys which already exists.

Goto SE16 & enter the primary key values which you were trying to create. You would find that a record with same entry already exists.
