Using BOPF on standard Business Objects

Hi All,

I have a scenario, where in we want to create a Service Order via an oData Service in a CRM system. Currently we are thinking of implementing the oData Service on top of a BOPF object. As far as I see we can use BOPF if we are developing a business object from scratch. But if we want to create or update a standard BO (like Service Order or Business Partner) , can we use the BOPF framework. If we can use it then can someone please throw some light on how it can be done.

Thanks,

Bhargava.
