Hello,
We have the following problem in the transaction code PFCG, when trying to edit the authorizations of a role:
the tree "S_TCODE" appears as "Standard" and can only be changed, if you set the authorization fields to "*" (full authorization) ,
please see the printscreen attached.
Is there a way to modify parts of "S_TCODE" ?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Noémi Pocsai

Hi Noémi,
Could it be that the rolle is deriving transactions from another rolle?
if so, you'd have to change the transactions of the referenced rolle.
cheers,
Janis

Hi Janis,
Thank you for the hint.
Unfortunately, this is not the case , the role is not deriving transactions from another role.
Kind regards,
Noémi

Hi Raymond,
Thank you for your reply.
My problem is that, I'd like to change the subtree "Transaction codes" , but it's not possible to edit this... or am I wrong?
Thank you in advance for an answer.
Kind regards,
Noémi

Hi Noémi,
You could add transactions by adding object S_TCODE to Rolle manually as well; to take some away you'd need to remove them from Menu I think.

as Janis says, once you create a menu for the role, those objects (transactions - so S_TCODE) are "inherited" from the menu and are used in the authorizations part. So look at the first tab in view / change mode in PFCG and you will see that there are probably multiple items there. This means that user having this role will have those items in his / her easy-access menu. If you want to remove an item, you have to remove it from the menu.
If you want to add some more items, you either want them to appear in the menu (and you will manage transactions there), or you want them to be hidden and you will use the "manual" insertion of the S_TCODE object in the authorizations part.
