user exit

Hi All,

I have a requirement to add a new field to the existing idoc.i have created a new segment type and added to basic type by creating extension idoc.Now i need to populate this field for this i need to find the function module/user exit.how can i find the user exit where i need to populate this field.

Hi,

inside the function module

exits will be called using CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION

and then put a break point in the exits and find out when the segment is processed

Hi,

The function module name attached to basic idoc or message type is 'APPL_IDOC_INPUTI'.But i could not find any call customer-exit statements in that.can any body please tell me how to find user exit now.
