Hi,
No prob... they will be Quality server or in Production server.
I think they might have gone in Development server.
Then logon into Quality server you can find there.
Thanks.
If this helps you reward with points.

Hi,
Were the programs created in a development class and saved in any request(and released)? (If it was a local object, unfortunately the chances of retrieval is only from a system back up that might have been taken).
run the report RSWBO040 and search for your program in a request(released/modifiable- all task types selected)...
You might want to choose the line with R3TR PROG and enter ur program name to do the search....
If a request is found....check and see if its objects can be imported into the system.
Thanks,
Renjith.

Hi,
if you have create version of your program, you could find the source code with the function module : SVRS_GET_REPS_FROM_OBJECT
object_name the name of the report
object_type REPS
versno the last, it's better

Hi,
ajay if they are temp programs then sorry..
but if they are old ones with requests then you can get them from production or quality or testing.
if they are new and not yet transported at least once also sorry you can't.

hi, I have tried the function module but its not returning any data.

i have written the programs in a development server and put them in a package. i got a request number but i have never transported them even once nor released. any help?

If you have never release your transport, then, you have lost your work.
if it's your own SAP server, you could try to find, if SAP save in a temporary directory the data. For ex, in Linux that will be a "grep -ir name_of_report /directory"

sorry...i think that it may not be possible to recover the programs...
check with your basis folks & see if something can be done from the back ups...

i have tried the report "RSWBO040" and made a search for the program name i have created. there is list of programs which have been deleted by me. when i double click the program it says "Program ZSMS_COLLECTION_DATE not found - Message no. ED524" and there is a lock import/status which says - object locked.
