Hi Nitesh,
Its really nice thought of jumping in to SAP. In SAP we will have 3 paths
1) system administration - BASIS
2) Functional - SD,MM, FI , HR ...
3) technical - ABAP, XI ...etc
You can choose your own based on your exp and interest. Certification does make sense, so try to concentrate on subject then certifications....
please let me know if you need more information on certification / ABAP classes...you can write to [email protected]
regards,
*DJ

hi Nitesh,
What is your background?
Are you an engineer? then from which field.
Choosing the right course also depends on where you are right now, your background and many other factors.

Welcome:
Please don't post your e-mails, we can use your business card to send you mails....I don't think you want SPAM on your mail right? -;)
About Certification fees....It depends on where you are living....Here in Perú, it's like 4,000 dollars....
If you are a programmer...choose ABAP, if you got some Financials experience go for FI...and so on....
I don't have any certification....And I'm well paid....Having a certification will of course help you, but it's not something you need to get a good job....But, if you want to choose a new module, you should go for it....I was going to take a BW certification, just because I don't have a BW to learn....
So, actually it's up to you -;)
Greetings,
Blag.
