Uploading Data in a User Defined table

Hello Experts,

I have a user defined table YFEED_TABLE_2 as a local object in the System. i want to upload some data from TEXT file to the table using LSMW TCode..

But after selecting u201CMaintain Object Attributesu201D in LSMW transaction...in the "STANDARD BATCH/INPUT METHOD", I have select an Object like Vendor master, material master,...few more are there...

i don't know which object to Choose...how could i know that object is mapped to the target table YFEED_TABLE_2 ...

Please Help....

Hi,

If you want to make use of LSMW to upload data into the table then create a table maintainance generator of the Z table.

Use BDC recording method in LSMW and do a recording of SM30 transaction to maintain data in your Z table.

Please tell me the procedure to perform BDC recording in LSMW & do a recording of SM 30 transaction???

COuld please also tell me how to perform a new recording in transaction SHDB???

In LSMW second method is Recording method, here no need to SHDB, through LSMW you can directly record the tcode.

create the table maintains for your custome table and assing the one tcode for table maintains then goto LSMW recording method ....

in "Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules" menu of the LSMW, i want to MAP the my own created SOURCE STRUCTURE WITH A TABLE STRUCTURE....

SOurce structure that i have defined have exactly same number of fields as in the table...But in the "Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules" steps, i am not getting source fields(fields that i have defined under the source structure is not displayed) ...so i can't map those fields with my table fields...

could you please tell me , how can get those fields so that i can map those fields with the table fields??

SE11 -> Table Name-change -> Utilities -> Table maintenance generator.

fill in Function group and other details and click on create.
