Uploading .afm fonts for sapscript printing

Hi All

I am just wandering is there any way to upload the .afm font for sapscript printing that could be applicable to all kind of printers

As I uploaded some fonts , but in the output some fonts were missing

I just want to know the right settings to upload the .afm fonts so that it works well with all kind of printers

To upload font first locate ur file for that font in this case VERDANA,

normally u will find this file in C:\windows\font copy that file from there in

some other directory. then goto transaction code SE73 give ur font name

in SAP starting with Z and give ur font file path.

Hi Vinod

I have uploaded the font using SE73

but my main concern is even after uploading some of the fonts doesnt appear while printing the file

i want to know the settings for device types that can be common to all printers.

Not all the printers can handle all the font types. When u r printing the fonts, see to it that those fonts are active in the printers u r using for print.

Hi

How will i check these settings in printer

as certain escape sequences are not printed

hi,

you can use SE73 to install fonts.

check it.
