Hi All,

Can we upload custom infotypes using the transaction "<b>PFAL</b>"?

1. I think it can be maintained,

bcos sap will not write separate programs,

or set of routines / logic

to upload different/various

standard infotyupes.

2. However, if it cannot be done,

then its better to do BDC.

PFAL is for sending employee master data, os it's outbound direction.

what about the cluster data and custom fields in the standard infotyeps?

Probable you have to enhance your Idoc type and use of the HR Badi to populate the data for the custom fields.

I think you can can check in WE30 for the relevant message type ie HRMD_A etc..

I'm not sure, but I think cluster data should be included in standard Idoc types.

1. ALE is for continuous data transfer.

2. LSMW is usually for one time,

of less frequent uploads.
