While upgrading to ecc 6.0 version , I am facing an issue during code remediation phase . Some codes are modified earlier by third parties using Modification Assisstant .Now I have to deactivate the modification assisstant to make my remediations. So , will that result in loss of anything and will it affect the code quality as well as the performance?

Code will not be lost, just you will loose the change track block by block, it will convert into a normal commented code, instead of blocks

Nothing will be lost , just that you wont be able to use modification assistant for that particular object from now on.
