Unable to upload an OSS note from tcode SNOTE

I need to upload an OSS Note 1451769 from tcode SNOTE(Note Assistant).

I went to SAP portal opened the Note and downloaded the Correction
Instructions which went in the Download Basket. I used SAP Download
Manager to Download this note to my machine. The status for this
download was "Downloaded completely and successfully" from the Manager.

I went to tcode SNOTE->Goto->Upload SAP Note but i am getting the
following error;

Data file of SAP Note is incomplete
Message no. SCWN017

Please tell me what can be the problem and the solution to this.

Hi,

Notes may be corrupt.

try to download again.

see also sap notes - 941541 for this.

there are few thread also on ur query.

Please search also.

Please also go through OSS note: 1939285 that has options for SNOTE errors.

Dear Anu,

I got the same error to download the SAP Note 1680583 from SAP Marketplace.

In my case, the identified solution was to download the SAP Note directly from Download Basket.

1) Include the note into SAP Download Manager (Click on download button)

2) Click on Go to Download Basket or Maintain Download Basket

3) Click on link of SAP Note (Description column)

4) A ZIP file will be downloaded into your computer

5) Unzip the SAP-NOTE.ZIP file

6) Call SNOTE and upload the resulting SAP-NOTE.txt file

7) Proceed witn SNOTE next steps
