Unable to edit ABAP Objects

Hi,

I have 2 development PI servers. The ABAP object from one was transported and imported into another one.

Now i need to edit some of the RFCs on the second server where objects have been imported. But i am unable to do so. It asked me for developer key , i provided that and after that it gives me a warning as pasted below.

"Only perform repairs and also maintain these changes in the original system of the object. "

The text of the RFC appears in grey colour with white background. Hence it is not even in uneditable mode and not letting me edit also.

Hi Himanshu,

Thanks very much. It has worked. But does this have any adverse effect anywhere else because when i turned it on it gave me a warning.

Hi,

I think you are editing standard objects so it always has its ramifications if you want to have the assistant switched on then you can use insert, Replace and delete buttons that you see on the menu bar and SAP would keep a track of these modification and these changes would be provided to you for evaluation and changes when you are upgrading where as when you switch it off on track is kept and you might loose all your changes to such a standard object when you are upgrading.

Himanshu
