Transporting Std text

Hi All,

Could anyone plz tell me how to assign a new task for my std text which I have changed?

From rep: RSTXTRAN, I have to assign my std text to my req, but its not accepting my request, it says u cannot use that req.

Please help me out, urgent.

It could be a customizing request or workbenchrequest which is required. Have you tried both?

Hi,

I know what is the problem. I guess u r selecting the main request. Please select the next request under the main request. It will accept. I've done that many times.

That is u shud select the tasks under a request and not the requests.

I think you actually got my point.

Actually the thing is, there are no tasks displayed under that request.

Hi Varun,

you create a task under the request by using se09.

and attach this task to the standard text.

Hi,

You can not use Workbench request for the Standard texts , you need to use Customizing Request for the Standard text.

You have to give the Task No not the Request itself.. In SE09, expand your Req, you will find the Task No..

Hi,

Do like this...

when saving standard text in so10,

it won't ask for request!

1. a little tricky

2. goto se09 and create a new

customizing rqeuest.

3. after that

in the object list,

go in edit mode

and a new window will come

where u can add the objects(in table control)

4. there u put

program id = R3TR

object type = TEXT

object name = TEXT,YHRS_FNF_LTR,YHR1,E

where

YHRS_FNF_LTR = name of standard text

YHR1 = TEXT ID

E = english language

hi varun,

on the sel-screen:

1.Name of correction: give the request u saved in while modification .(if u had created any. else, leave it). say f8.

2. deselect all

3. select ur text now and press enter->

4.on top, there is a button:transfr text to corr....

here if u have created a request b4, it will directly transport.else it will prompt u 2 create a request & then transport.

Standard testx for Scripts are transported through Customizing requests .

It cant be done through workbench requests .
