transporting module pool program from sand dev to dev system

Hi,

Can any body tell me how to transport module pool objects(including screens) from sand dev to dev system rather than manually with in the same client.

hi Prasad,

Save the Program with a Request Number i.e, By assigning a development Class ... you get that number .. transport that Request to the Targtet system ..for which take the help of your basis guy

Hi

Go to Screen painter and give your program name which you wanted to transport.

Go to --> Object directory entry and there enter Development class and press enter then it will ask for request,. create a request accordingly.

Then you can release the sub task and give the main request to your Basis person to move it to target system.

I haven't seen it being done.. SANDBOX is just to play around.. if you make it the source client for transport layers, there might be other issues.. It is a good practice to recreate the Objects in DEV as you will be migrating to QA & PROD from DEV & not sandbox..

Normally the objects developed in sandbox will not be transported to other systems in the system landscape like DEV,QA or PRD.

Check with your BASIS person if its allowed in your system landscape. Normally its not and you will have to recreate the objects again in DEV system.
