Transporting info set object

Hi ,

I am facing one issue with releasing infoset object from development client to quality

1) I used RSAQR3Tr program for exporting info set object with following parameters

option : Export

Selected radio button 'Transport infosets' and specify the info set name and selected import option as 'MERGE'.

After execution of the said program, returns one new transport request number.

Released this request number

2) BASIS admn. released this transport request to QA

3) I tried to import this with same program with following options

option : Import

Selected radio button 'Transport infosets' and specify the info set name and selected import option as 'MERGE'.

and specify the new transport request number in field 'Data set with imports'

After execution, gives error message as 'InfoSet exists (overwriting not allowed)'

Appreciate your expert comments

Hi Sujith

I guess, you need to transport with importing option as <b>REPLACE</b> to override the error, as the infoset is already existing in QA.

Can you try by transporting the respective user-group first. Maybe if there is any conflict in the role or user-group assignment, it can give an error.
