Transportation Issue

Hi Guru's ,

We have 3 landscape SCM server (DEV-QA-PRD)

We had done lots of DDIC changes and applied lots of SNOTES in DEV system for the past 3-4 months .

Now ,

1.) We have forgotten the sequence in which this has to be transported .

2.) Partial changes are been transported to QA (not in sequential form)

3.) Now while transporting any other changes we are getting some form of errors while "generation of programs and screen".

My query is

1.) How we will go about the above problem.

or

2.) Can we revert the partial changes transported to QA and then find the correct sequence .

Regards

Anthony

hi Anthony,

I guess you have all transport request, but not the right order. In this case create a new transport request and attach all requests to it and import this request only. This new request will have all single changes and all problems are solved. If there are still problems after this, it means that some objects are missing. In this case you have to collect these into a 2nd transport request, import it and reimport the 1st (collective) request.

hope this helps
