hi experts,

in transport organiser,my request has been locked that prevent it from being transported to quality server,can anyone suggest me how to unlock that request.

Hi,

It might be because the user trying to release the Transport is not the owner of the task. Change the owner of the transport and try to release.

check it whether you have opened in other screen parallely other wise close all the screens and then check it will be in unlocked

First unlock the request by the option given in transport organizer tools and then change the owner by change owner option given

OR 1Go to T code SE03

2double click *Unlock Objects (Expert Tool)* on left side

3 give the Req Number #

4 then execute F8

Hi Raman,

Different Procedures mentioned below in seperate points which might suit your requirement

1.Check whether the release of request (your request) is still running, or whether it has terminated. If the release has terminated, release request(your request) again.

2.You will NOT see this type of lock in SM12,I believe. This is a function group that has been locked in a transport request. Go to Transaction SE03 and Select the Display tab and enter your Request, Release thi transport request then the object is unlocked.

3.Release all tasks and request .Create one more request and add to it.Now it will work.

Reason for the error might be,You have released the task not the request till you release the request it will get locked.

4.Ifyou get any error/warning message when transporting (check the log in stms or se09)?

Are the transfer structure, comm structure and infosource active?

You can try running this program: RSAU_UPDR_REACTIVATE_ALL. It reactivates the update rules (used for qa and prd systems when you get this kind of problems)

5.You can see the transport log from transaction se09 in development. Look for the request, press the Transport Logs button (the one on the right of the truck), and you can check it there. If you press on the icon next to each step, you can see the log.

You can (and should) run the program in se38. Check the parameters (the first one is the id of the update rules) in order to activate only the update rules requested.
