Transport Request

Hi Gurus,

Can anybody explain the procedure how to release the transport request from development server to production server

hi,

use the transactions se09 or se10.

place the cusrsor on the request no. and press f9.

this will generate the cofile and the data file

Hi,

Goto SE09 ,first release the task for the request ,by pressing on lorry button and then release the final request....

Right Click on the Request and there will be one option Release , If you have Authorization it will be released.

HI,

1. If the program is already created and you want to put that program into a TR

Then Open the program in change mode. Click GOTO->Object Directory Entry. Here the Development Class should be entered. Change the class from $TMP to your development class. Then Click on Save. It will prompt for the Name of the TR. Give a name and specify the Project.

2. If the program is to be created,

Then while created the program, it would ask for development Class , then enter the development class and click on SAVE. Then it would ask for the TR Name and project. Enter the same.

Hi,

First create the transport request ,

after that go to se09.

Then display ur transport requests and then select ur transport request.

under that there are sub tasks..

Click ur subtask and then press "release directly" (truck) button on the application tool bar.

release all the subtasks and the main request also.

Tehn u give the request number to ur BASIS guy and he will do the transport...

ABAP poeple will not haveauthority to transport..

Ravi,

GOto Tcode SE10

On Screen enter your user login user id.

Under request status select the check box modifiable.

Click on display ->>In next screen select expand your transport request and click on inside task number press release button ( OR) F9 on Apllication tool bar and next click on your main request and press F9.

After all send your request no. to basi person he will transport your request.

Don't forget to reward if useful..
