In Se09 , create another task for the same Tr request & leave it as unclassified or select 'Development/Correction' as the Task type. Now attach the fm to this task. you canot add Dev Objects to repair Tasks.

Thank you all for your answers
My Scenario:-
I have used a user-exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 in my development system and done some code changes.
I want to transport the EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 to Quality.
Will I use Workbench request?
Please tell me the step by step procedure to do that.
Thank You

In that case you will be actually doing changes to the include ZXMG0U02. The system will prompt for the change request when you save and activate or else you can add object to the request by using transaction SE09.
1. create one Workbench request .
2. Right click on the transport request and click include object.
Hope this helps.

The system should have prompted you for a change req..ie if you have assigned the ZX***** include where you have put your code is assigned to a package other than $TMP. It will be a Workbench Request & the task type will be a Dev/Correction.The tr procdeure is like any other dev object that gets transported from Dev to QA.

Hi Subhash,
My first question is when you made the changes in the EXIT did you get a prompt for saving it in a transport.
If yes then there either you can create a new one or you can check own requests and add in one of them.
And by the way check the Object Directory Information. Is it made as local object or is assigned to a Development Class which is not transportable.
In that case you wouldn't have got a transport request prompt.

Thanks
So do I need to incude the FM-->EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 or the include ZXMG0U02 in the transport request?
Thank You

Hi,
Just include ZXMG0U02 as the function module defination will already be there in Quality.

Yes , provided you are not doing any changes to function module defination itself i mean parameters. For doing these changes you require Access key . You need to Transport the Function module also if you have changed the FM defination itself using access key.

Hi,
While saving the FM, when it asks for a request, select the request from the list where you want to place it and then save.
