I have to transport a request from say Client 100 to Client 200. Can anybody let meo know the procedure? I have never done this before because this was taken care by Basis Consultants. I have released the request but I can't see any request in STMS t-code.

Please give me the procedure.

If you are transporting from client to client, you can use tcode SCC1.

If you are transporting from server to server, you can use STMS_IMPORT

Hi,

you can use T.code SCC1.

1)go to target client i.e, 200

2) T.code SCC1

3)give the source client i.e, 100

4) give the request number.

Hi,

Use Tcode SE09 and select the TR. Click on the TRUCK icon - Release directly.

It takes around 30 min. - depends on the time setting for transfer of from Development system to Production system.

Best regards,

Prashant

Hi,

Once you are sure you have released the request, go to STMS. Then press F5. You will get a list of clients like

D62 Development Server

P62 Production Server

Q62 QA Server.

Suppose client 200 is quality client, then double click on the quality client, you press refresh and go to the end of the page, here you can find your request.

Choose on the request no and press CTRLF6. You shall get a popup window. Press yes. Then choose the request no and press CTRLF11. then you will get a window where you must feed in the client no as well as check the check boxes: transport and rewrite originals. after this keep on pressing F5, till the status of the request becomes a green tick mark.

1)<b>scc1 transactio is used for transfer the request for one client to another client it is only for client dependent object.

example--- sapscript</b>.

2)for client independent if u make the changes in any client it automaticaly updates in another client.

3)for ur point of view u taking abt stms it means 200 client is ur production system or quality system...

4)in devlopment system u make changes and create the request and go to se09 and release the request.

5)now in qa server u test the object it is ok or not.

6)after this in production server by using stms transaction u transport the request to production system...

-Use Tr.<b>STMS</b>-> Click truck button -> after that screen will be come up with instance names ( e,g <b>DEV,QA,PRD</b> )

I’m assuming that you guys have transport route between client 100 and client 200 . ( is this the same instance ?)

Any way double click the instance name , the list of request will be show up . you can find you request put cursor on the request and click ( <b>Import request ( CNtrl+F11</b> )

<u><b>Note : don’t click import all request !!</b></u>

Hope this’ll give you idea!!

<b>P.S award the points.</b>

Good luck

Thanks
