Transport Request - Released

By error, I released a transport request that contains 2 objects. Is there any way to set the status back to 'Modifiable' ?

I am not able to edit the objects as they are 'Released'. The basis team for some reason are unable to delete the transport. What would need to be done to make the objects editable ?

Thanks.

You just make the modifications and it will ask for a new transport, that is all. Do your changes and release the new transport once you are done.

Jackandjay, could you elaborate more on STMS.

This is a Sapscript form and it does not open for edits.

If it is SAPScript form, why can't you just edit it, save it, activate it and then create a new transport for the SAPScript like you did first time?

Basis ppl know more about STMS, but we can check the options available in the T code and may be you might figure out some thing.

in stms check ur user name and select the TR number, and check for options available.

else as every other person says, create another TR and let ur basis guy know not to transport the older TR.

Hi,

Though you released the TR, it wont be moved to next server until basis guys really transport it. So you no need to worry at all. Since this is script even it wont maintain the TRs. So you can create a new TR and you modify the script.

When I click on the Change button in SE71, I get a error message "Task/Request DM.... has already been released'. I am unable to edit the form.

That should not be the case. Are you sure you released both the task and the request (not that it matters)? Is this a custom form? I am assuming that you are trying this in development environment.

Even if its released, it will allow you to make changes and when you save the changes new TR will be created.

Can you please confirm

it should allow you, if you are in the DEV environment.

I am in Development environment and this is a custom form (Z).

SAP Satya / Srinivas, I am unable to edit the form and I get the error message 'Task/Request released.'

Thinking more about it, the basis guy had trouble locating the transport under 'Released' status. Let me go back and check with the basis person.

hi,

may be while releasing it was not released properly.

otherwise you can retrive the old version by using the version management. and then do modification.

HI,

As per my knowledge, you can change Package of your released sript. At that time it will ask new TR. so save it in that new TR. so at that time you can do mdification.

By using RSWBO052 this pgm u can change u r package.

If my process was mistake ignore this.

Give Reward points me if helpfull.
