Transport Request Ref No.

Hello Friends,

I have created Transport Request and saved but forgot to submit for the approval. My question is how to open and submit the transport request.

Hi Shreekanth,

This transport request is released by using transaction SE09 or SE10.

Use TCode STMS you can able to import the transport into the target system.

Shreekanth,

Once the TR Num is created it will get saved.Go to SE09 and double click on that paritcular TR,do the documentation and release it.By the way what is this "submit for approval"?

Hi Kiran,

We use one seperate transaction for transporting the object to test system from dev system. Here we fill the transport req no. test system name, approver email id etc. After that we click on "submit for approval" button. Once the TD approves, then only the object is moved to test system.

My query is I have not pressed "submit for approval" button. It is just saved. If I press "submit for approval" button then only TD will receive a auto mail to approve.
