Hi all,

Can anyone please tell me whether the transparent tables are platform-independent?

Thanks in advance.

hi,

A transparent table is automatically created on the data base when it is activated in the dictionary. this results in the database independent description of the table in the dictionary being translated into the language of the underlying database and hence the database table.

so, transparent tables are paltform independent.

reward points if its useful
